I keep hoping to see your analysis of Michelle Obama's commencement address at Tuskegee University. The media has hit her with a double whammy of racist and misogynist backlash. The crap that concerns me the most is the "liberal" assumption that she will campaign for Hillary Clinton, especially the media's manipulative remarks about the First Lady's values and the false equivalence pairing both of them as former first ladies. Evidence of integrity vs. lack of integrity is completely lost in the noise. I'd take my aging, sick body to the streets to campaign for Michelle Obama if she ever decides to run for the Presidency. The only effort I'd make for Hillary Clinton is to spit in her soup.

It's probably going to surprise you but my analysis of Michelle Obama's commencement address at Tuskegee University is it was the Historically Black College and University that made the short list for the "I'm black like you" platitude speech. I felt some kind of way about her talking about the racism she's experienced as First Lady to a black audience. IMHO she was preaching to the choir, and since her husband is in a position of power and influence to address the racism black people are experiencing but doing very little to do something about it *shrug*.
I bet Michelle won't give that speech at a white University (which is where she needs to give it).
I don't know if I would campaign or endorse Michelle Obama was a Presidential Candidate because I've seen little substance in her platform. She and Dr. Jill Biden focused on Military Families, to the detriment of the black/brown/poor families. Her healthy eating campaign is for the the rich. Did you know healthy food cost more than non healthy food? Her get moving campaign was OK, but it's kind of hard for kids to run and play when they are worried about being shot and killed by police.
As for Hillary Clinton, it's her or the alternative,and since the Alternative is Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Mike Huckabee, Ben Carson, and Carly Fiona, I'm going to support Hillary like my life depends on it. Because it does.

so ... the media circus concerning her remarks is more market-generated misdirection? If her statements are basically pablum, this is further evidence of the idiocy of the media and its opinionators. As a potential leader, my mind was contrasting her world-stage behavior with Clinton's. I had my fill of Clinton duplicity when I lived in NY; but you're right, a vote for her is a vote against the Dark Ages. Thanks for setting me straight on the (non)significance of the Tuskegee commencement address.
