FuckUp, I know what you're thinking. You're thinking that at some point, whites are gonna be the minority in this country and that somehow, black folks here will "conquer" the U.S. and treat white Americans the same way that South African whites are being treated. Seeing as how most black folks I know just want to be left alone and be unencumbered by any form of white privilege, stereotypical treatment and "othering" by nationalist/fundamentalist/nativist and political entities, I very much doubt we'll be seeing whatever happening in South Africa played out here.
To be perfectly honest, after centuries of colonization and white rule, with the attendant mistreatment and discrimination against the natives, I'm not inclined to feel sorry for white South Africans. Nevertheless, both ethnic groups should come together and end the ethnic antagonism and the racially-motivated violence that comes out of that.

I doubt that. You have mass rapes in the DRC and political violence in the Ivory Coast. Those stories haven't been getting that much exposure lately. Even Sudan wasn't a 24/7 news story -- celebrities who jumped on the Darfur cause just made it seem so.
Oh, my God, blacks and others who have been the target of white violence and oppression, are retaliating, not with words, but with comparable tactics--actually striking back with the same violence that's been directed against them for so many years.
Haven't these malcontents learned to know their place, that only whites get to inflict violence, that it's their private preserve, and all others are put on God's earth to be served up to white superiority?
Why is that so hard to understand?
It's hard to understand because it happened years ago to blacks and we learned from it but now mostly young blacks are out of control! There are numerous stories daily about attacks on whites but not the opposite. They are swept under the rug and not labeled correctly as a RACIST CRIME!
It needs to all stop. Why attack whites of today they had nothing to do with the past!!!!

This statement, threadbare and hackneyed, doesn't resonate as much as it should, but it's no less true.
I'll try to brush it off a bit, and dress it in a new suit, giving it a respectability that's long overdue.
Early Christians ignored Karmic principles, in this country and abroad, otherwise they wouldn't have brought slavery to these shores, and decimated the indigenous people.
This nation's civil war was an inevitable outcome of not giving the Law of Reciprocity, The Golden Rule, its just due.
This Rule is Jewish, too, as in a "life for a life, an eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth," as codified into Jewish law.
Many religions, and traditions teach it, not just Hinduism and Buddhism.
Although Jesus denounced the codification of the law as a human invention, he nevertheless taught it as an inexorable law governing human interactions, both in its negative and positive form--give and it shall be given to you, forgive and you shall be forgiven, throw your bread on water and it shall be returned.
In short, do unto others as you would have others do unto you.
These aren't exact quotes, but they're close enough for this discussion.
Further, this Law of Reciprocity is written on the tablet of the soul, and etched on the surface of the heart. If you don't wish others to steal from, hurt, or kill you, don't steal from, hurt, or kill others.
A simple, clear rule, that's often overlooked.
Christianity, if it's anything, is about this Law of Reciprocity, summed up in Jesus' Golden Rule.
Love your enemies, do good to them that despitefully use you, and say all manner of evil against you falsely; pray for them.
Why?
Karma! The Law of Reciprocity! It's implacable, unyielding, unforgiving until the karmic debt is paid.
It's so important that the Lord's Prayer makes mention of it:
"Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors."
Rather than teach this, and teach it often, and practice its precepts, Christianity became all about Christian salvation.
It shouldn't haven't taught the one, and not the other, if we ever hoped to step down from the cosmic wheel of debts paid and unpaid.
If I buy an item, let's say a stolen television, or an i-phone, or jewelry, knowing it's stolen, or taken with violence and brutality, I also carry the debt of the original perpetrator.
And if I don't use this knowledge to refuse the item, or, after taking the item, not to make amend for what was stolen, I'm also indebted, just as though I was the one who initiated the stealing.
This nation has build up an amazing amount of karma, and karmic debt--it has killed to steal; it has stolen land, and the resources upon those lands; it has stolen lives, and the labor that those lives represented; and it has killed many thousands abroad, and continues to do so, in the name of its own security and economic benefit--all the while ignoring the commandments, "Thy shall not steal...Thy shall not kill."
Note, there's no exceptions to these commandments--that is, you may not steal if you're hungry. You may not kill, if another is attempting to kill you.
The Law works like gravity--gravity won't save you if you reach to stop another from falling, and fall to your own death in the process.
And The Law of Reciprocity works both ways--Good for Good, and Evil for Evil. If not in this life, the next, and the one after that, and after that, until the "debt" is settled, and paid in full.

But be forewarned, the Good Book admonishes us all: "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."
People understand very little of life, and because of their ignorance do things that are inimical to their souls.
I'm not a religionists, but I do know and understand the laws which govern our lives. Karma is one of them. There are others, but you know them already, whether you're willing to admit it or not.

Ignorance gives comfort to those who won't face the truth, or find the truth too painful to contemplate.
Call it what you like, the Law of Reciprocity is unmoved by your petty logic, excuses, or deflection of the facts or the truth.
It continues on it inexorable way, until what is due it is paid, Good for Good, and Evil for Evil.

Teenager nearly killed in horrific racially motivated mob attack.
Another brutal racially motivated mob attack on a white pedestrian. This time in Columbia, SC.
The media hid this attack for days. Even now they are censoring the the fact that the perps were all black. If the races had been reversed, this would be the biggest news story in the country.
For the past three-four weeks, ever since the weather warmed up, brutal racially motivated black on white mob attacks have occurred all over the United States.

All eight suspects are in custody after a brutal attack in Five Points early Monday morning which left the teenage victim in critical condition, according to Columbia police.
Columbia Police Department spokeswoman Jennifer Timmons said most of the eight suspects are juveniles, and did not release the names of any of the suspects. Timmons said no charges have been filed so far, though possible charges could include assault and battery and strong-arm robbery.
Police Chief Randy Scott said the 18-year-old victim, later identified as Carter Strange, was jogging through a parking lot near the intersection of Blossom Street and Saluda Avenue just after midnight on Monday when the assault happened. “This teenager was minding his own business, trying to make his curfew when he was brutally attacked and robbed,” said Scott.
Strange’s mother Vicki said her son was jogging home after visiting a friend slightly past his midnight curfew. “At 12:07 he wasn’t home, I called him and said ‘Carter where are you?’” recounted Vicki. “He said ‘Momma, I am almost home. I’ll be there in just a minute.’ At 12:15 I called, but the phone was dead.”
Wrong. Your comments are living proof blacks today still have to deal with "that issue." You are confusing random acts of violence and crimes with racism. I promise you Black folks are not roaming around looking for white folks to attack just because President Obama was elected. 94,000 blacks have filed for money from Obama’s black farmer bailout. There are only 18,000 black farmers in the entire nation.
The near fatal beating of Carter Strange is what we are told a textbook “hate crime” is. A group of individuals beat, nearly to death, another individual because of the color of his skin. So why isn’t it called a “hate crime?” Because this victim, like most actual “hate crime” victims, is white.
The State, South Carolina’s largest newspaper just censored all their comments on the story to conceal public anger. People had been posting comments demanding to know why the media isn’t calling the attack a “hate crime.”
Instead of comments, you get this message: “Editor’s note: Because of the abusive nature of many comments on this story, the commenting feature has been disabled.”
