Update: What looks like #STUPID on an ordinary day in #GOP controlled Alabamastan

Josh Moon nails it
This dream that Mr. Upton, the algebra teacher, is going to put down a mass shooter is really, really stupid.

A picture is worth thousands of lives
As attorney general, Eric Holder saw the carnage of Sandy Hook firsthand. “If the American people had access to those pictures, if the American people had seen those pictures, the calls for reasonable gun safety measures would have been passed,” Holder said in a 2016 interview. “If members of Congress perhaps had a chance to see those pictures and see what happened to those little angels I think we would’ve seen a different result.”

Happy #ValentinesDay #FakeFLOTUS

a a a a a a a a melaniaa
EYE sorta feel kinda bad for Melania....

Why is it more important than ever to highlight Melania Trump's racist claims? Ever since her husband's nomination through this past weekend's Women's March, there's been ongoing rhetoric about "freeing" Melania from Donald Trump, as if she has no choice in the matter or in her views.
There is more than a whiff of #hypocrisy #DreamAct

"History will remember this racism" #DreamActNow

Every moment in tRumps charged relationship with race.
Editor’s note: This story contains explicit language. We’ve updated this list after reports that President Donald Trump referred to Haiti and other African nations as “shithole countries” during an immigration meeting at the White House.
If it's not racist/racism what is it?
Axios reported:A source close to the White House tells me that with an eye to getting Republicans excited about voting for Republicans in midterms, the president this year will be looking for “unexpected cultural flashpoints” — like the NFL and kneeling — that he can latch onto in person and on Twitter. The source said Trump “is going to be looking for opportunities to stir up the base, more than focusing on any particular legislation or issue.”
Every Republican and one so-called democratic senator voted to confirm Jeff Sessions as the Attorney General for the United States of America.

Let that sink in

The #GOP is #MAHA (Making America Hate Again)

Meghan McCain (Screenshot/CNN)

For some reason unbeknown to me cable and network news outlets think we the people care about what Meghan McCain has to say about anything or anybody,  EYE mean really?  Other than being the blonde the daughter of a Republican United States Senator what is her claim to fame?  Anyhoo this is what EYE heard she said on #TheVanJonesShow on CNN emphasis mine.
“I am first to say I’m not a huge Trump supporter, for obvious reasons, but I decided on election night I would be as unemotional as possible in analyzing him and his presidency,” McCain replied.
“I’ve never been accused of being racist in my entire life until recently, until Trump became president,” she added. “I understand there is a lot of tension in this country that is overheating in a way we have never seen before… and I don’t pretend to understand the experience of minorities in this country.
But I will say that I have vivid memories of my father being called racist, I have memories of President Bush being called racist, of Mitt Romney, of Jeb Bush… I think it does a disservice to real racism,” McCain said.
“And I think that for me, I want to separate those things and I don’t want that to be thrown around the way it is, and I understand there’s a lot of hurt and a lot of pain right now, but it hurts me when you’re throwing out that I and basically the party I’m in… and it’s as simple as your racist.
Poor thing.  She doesn't realize there is no separation between her party and racist/racism. In the words of Bill Maher: If you are a racist looking for a party the GOP is the obvious choice.

Own It.
More Republican candidates than ever who are seeking re-election have been using white supremacist slogans, had white supremacists at their government events and granted interviews to racist publications.
Where once we could rely on the fact that these types of people would not ascend to the highest offices in the land, with the installation of President Trump, we now know anything is possible. After all, look at who he has brought with him to the White House. White nationalists such as Steve Bannon, Sebastian Gorka and Stephen Miller are all clear-cut racists who he gave a platform.
EYE know she is young but she has to know her party has a documented history of racist/racism.

You are who/what you vote for.

About That "Draining the Swamp" Thingy....

Former Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney (D-NY) says "there was not a day that went by that I did not have a stack of red folders on my desk marked 'Top-Secret' that went to the president" about his time as staff secretary to Bill Clinton.

"I made choices and just have to live with them,” Manigault said. When asked if she would vote for Trump again, she said “God no, never. In a million years, never.”

They literally ran an entire campaign about their opponent’s supposedly sloppy handling of classified material.

If we could turn back time, could we, would we?
