Please tell me this is a prank~Edit

According to Dale Jackson's blog On May 26, 2011, Alabama House of Representatives Ball, Johnson (W), McCutcheon, Williams(D), Johnson (K), Henry, Greer, Patterson, Sanderford and Collins first read HR782, COMMENDING THE WORK OF RADIO HOST DALE JACKSON for, get this, his hard work and dedication to informing the citizens of the Tennessee Valley and surrounding communities;

Are they serious? Don't they mean for his hard work and dedication MISINFORMING the citizens of the Tennessee Valley?

Grab your barf bag, there's more;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, That Dale Jackson, who continues to play an influential role in the Tennessee Valley community and abroad, is honored and commended for all his accomplishments, and this resolution is offered in highest tribute and deepest appreciation for all his hard work.

I guess Voter Suppression with the State Seal of Approval, calling their fellow State Representative Laura Hall a racist coward, and being the favorite Tea Party mascot, I mean emcee is hard work. Snark

This is a prime example of how shameless right wing lies came to rule our politics

It takes two things to make a political lie work: a powerful person or institution willing to utter it, and another set of powerful institutions to amplify it. The former has always been with us: Kings, corporate executives, politicians, and ideologues from both sides of the aisle have been entirely willing to bend the truth when they felt it necessary or convenient. So why does it seem as if we're living in a time of overwhelmingly brazen deception? What's changed?

Today's marquee fibs almost always evolve the same way: A tree falls in the forest -- say, the claim that Saddam Hussein has "weapons of mass destruction," or that Barack Obama has an infernal scheme to parade our nation's senior citizens before death panels. But then a network of media enablers helps it to make a sound -- until enough people believe the untruth to make the lie an operative part of our political discourse.

The War on Drugs is a right wing media enabled prank, I mean LIE
“the war on drugs functions like the new Jim Crow trapping an increasing population of black people in a permanent under caste.” The so-called “war on drugs” is in fact a misnomer – it’s really a war on people, people involved with the drugs we’ve deemed ‘illicit’, though as was true with alcohol prohibition, drug prohibition is not directed at all those involved with such substances – no – drug prohibition is almost solely enforced against the poor, the marginalized and the powerless. Those with money, status and power are able to buy and use illicit drugs without fear, secure in the knowledge the police are too busy chasing poor black and brown addicts on street corners and in housing projects to go after the rich addicts in fancy offices and country clubs.

So, while the TeaPublican House of Representatives votes to defund National Public Radio, the Alabama House of Representatives commend Dale Jackson for his "hard work and commitment to misinforming the public.

In a largely party-line vote, the Republican-led House of Representatives voted Thursday afternoon to prohibit federal funding for National Public Radio and prohibit public radio stations from using federal funds to pay dues to NPR and other public radio distributors or purchase their programming.

The vote was 228 to 192, with one member voting present. Every Democrat opposed the bill, along with seven Republicans.

The bill voted on Thursday prohibits all federal funding from going to NPR (which distributes "All Things Considered" and other programs) as well as to distributors like Public Radio International (distributor of This American Life and other programs) and American Public Media (distributor of Marketplace and other programs).

Only in Sweet Home AlaMerica. Psst! Ball, Johnson (W), McCutcheon, Williams(D), Johnson (K), Henry, Greer, Patterson, Sanderford and Collins..where are the J-O-B-S?

Laura Hall is a racist!! If Sue is in jail why not her?

She came under fire for avoiding the media [2] and for refusing to answer questions regarding allegations that she received pay from Calhoun Community College while at the same time performing her duties as a Representative in Montgomery, Alabama which was the reason behind Chancellor Bradley Bryne call for a full investigation of Representative Hall.[3] Incidentally a similar investigation led to the fraud conviction of one of Representative Sue Schmitz who served with Hall in the House of Representatives.[4]

Dale jackson' don't you think you owe it to readers of your blog. To inform themk it was just another one of your *ahem* dumb, stoopid pranks using the name of Government officials? Judging from the comments they don't know the joke is on them.

Click the link you clown and you will see it is legit.

Therein lies the problem Dale, it's hard to tell when things are legit where you are concerned, as the lawyers on TeeVee says it goes to creditability.

So, the Alabama Legislature actually passed a resolution commending you for misleading the public? There goes their creditablity too.

Did you notice how I made my point without resorting to name calling?

Dale Jackson said...

If you are a clown and I call you a clown that is not name-calling.

Redeye said...

I am not a clown, I am a human being and I deserve to be trated as such. Do you call everyone you disagree with names or is it just me?

Do you call your mother\wife\sister\aunt\cousin\friend\neighbor names when they disagrre with your point of view?

Is idiot\clown\dumba$$\willfully ignorant code for the n word?

What you call people is what you are yourself.

Our country is in big troble when those who have the power to enact laws that affect all of us pander to the segment of our society that resorts to name calling, personal attaks and insults when the substance of their arguments fail.

Dale Jackson said...

No moron, clown is not code for the n-word. It is me calling you a clown.

Redeye said...

If you call me a clown etc. You will call me the n word. No might be about it.

Did you ride the short bus to school?

This is why I don't listen to your show, boycott your advertisers\sponsors, and vote against politicians who "commend" you.

It is also why from this point forward I will not engage you or your alter egos in any further discussions.

Redeye, are you afraid you will lose a debate against Dale? You seem to be a racist that hides under all the BS you spout. Why don't you just say that you do not like whitey! You play the blame game on every issue! It is never anyone's fault except for whitey, republicans, conservatives or tea party supporters!!

Dale doesn't debate he's a bully.

The end.
