#BlackLivesMatter on #MemorialDay2016

EYE am going to leave this right here.

"If this doesn’t get you on the #NeverTrump train, it’s hard to say what will."

Here's the deal.  If you support Donald Trump you support racism/bigotry and sexism.  There can be no more pretenses. EYE don't care how many black friends you work/play ball with. #OwnIt.
When you come to political rallies carrying signs of the president dressed as an African witch doctorwith a bone through his nose, or send around e-mails depicting the White House lawn covered in watermelons, or throw “ghetto parties” at your fraternity house, replete with blackf ace makeup, your claims of interracial camaraderie are not merely irrelevant to the suggestion that you just might be a racist, more to the point, they are blatant effing lies. The people who claim they have black friends and still do this kind of thing are liars, plain and simple. Every one of them. No exceptions.

"There isn’t much to say about this video mash-up of Donald Trump comments and 1960s civil rights protests. It speaks for itself in the starkest, most horrifying terms"

A "Pattern of Behavior at #HCSBOE Meetings" Replay #TeachForAmerica #CapAndGown

Eleven Johnson High School students participated in the Cap and Gown Project's Northeast college tour and returned from their two-week trip on June 7. (Contributed by Huntsville City Schools)
You know the pattern.

EYE figured WARdynski and his "Cabinet" were going to be on the war path after the NAACP held an update on the Huntsville City Schools, which was attended by citizens from all over the city, in north Huntsville of all places.  The DOCS (Director of Community Spying) didn't come inside, but it was reported he was in the parking lot taking pictures.  But EYE digress.
Tuesday, a local NAACP-led meeting addressed community concerns about things like testing, teacher retention, financial transparency, and disapproval of Wardynski himself. They invited blogger and parent Russell Winn as guest speaker.
Although the DOCS didn't attend the meeting, word must have gotten back to WARdynski the Teach for America program was one of the topics of discussion because he rolled out a tax payer funded, media enabled, PR offensive (pun intended) that was condescending at best, exploitation of a student's circumstances at worst, to justify the program.
Dr. Wardynski often claims that our children only get one shot at their education. If he really believes this, why is he so willing to take a $1.7 million dollar chance on unqualified teachers? At best, TFA represents a huge investment for minimal gains in math. At worst, it represents a huge investment for significant losses in student achievement.
It represents a corporate experiment where TFA’ers learn to teach on other people’s kids.
If Wardynski wished to “prove” that TFAers are better, he could release the data from every TFAer across the district. But he refuses.
Former Johnson High School TFAer,  Christopher Scribner implemented  Cap and Gown, a TFA program designed to take students on college tours and ACT prep.  He is planning to expand the program to all Title 1 (predominately black/brown/poor) schools with the help of Wall Street.  In his presentation Scribner claimed  in 2013 8/110 grads from Johnson reported they were going to attend college.  That's strange, because according to ALSDE in 2012-2013 Johnson had 98 12th graders and 78% graduation rate or about 77 grads.

EYE don't have a problem with the Cap and Gown Program, EYE do have a problem with the exploitation of a tenth grade, Johnson High School , African American male's personal circumstances to promote a media driven positive image of WARdynski as the great White Savior, and,  a false negative image of North Huntsville as a community that needs WARdynski to take care of them.   Both of which are totally false.  EYE have to question if this young mans' parents gave permission for their personal circumstances to be put out there for the world to see/hear in such a manner?

Yes, our tax dollars were at work on us big time last night.  The media was there to spread the compelling story of this young man's personal and painful family dynamics, the only thing missing was The World is a Ghetto playing in the background as he read eloquently  from a prepared script.

This is what a #hcsboe meeting looks like.  Every time ordinary citizens have a complaint, a well organizedpre planned, media enabled, defense is rolled out, complete with talking points, metal detectors, or worse.

You know the pattern,  EYE mean, drill.

Attend the school board meeting to address the board about a concern/complaint.

Sit patiently through unlimited presentations, resolutions, agenda items, etc.

The Superintendent and board goes into Executive Session to discuss agenda items.

The board comes out of Executive Session and votes on whatever they discussed behind closed doors. or not.

Citizens comments~ 3 minutes and not a second more.

The board is not required to answer questions or address concerns in public, the Superintendent threatens to quit rather than answer questions.

You leave feeling like you've been beaten, wondering why you wasted your time and gas in the first place.

RedEye around #SweetHomeAlabama

#BlastFromThePast or is it?

#TheyMad because NBC Anchor Tom Brokaw slammed The University of Alabama at Ole Miss's graduation.  It was a joke people.  Well sorta....

#TheTrialOfTheCentury begins today as Alabama Speaker of the House Mike Hubbard (R.Auburn) goes on trial after being indicted by the Attorney General for 23 ethics violations.

#InJusticeBamaStyle  Speaking of Alabama's Attorney General, he dropped the charges against Madison Police Officer Eric Parker who partially paralyzed an Indian Grandfather. Now that he's been cleared of all charges, he vows to get his job back.  That's comforting.
"If the State will not even try to get a conviction when an act of police brutality is caught on video," he asked, "what chance is there for other victims?"

That's all for now.  EYE shall return.

Update: EYE fear the #GOP more than EYE fear #Transgenders

Not one, not two, but three of Alabama's highest officials, all republicans, are embroiled in three separate scandals #SweetHomeAlabama

Native Alabamian, and Adjunct Assistant Professor of History at the University of Iowa,  John McKerley describes Alabama Politics to a Tea (pun intended).
Alabama politics: a case study in how a powerful minority (with the electoral support of many more) make political participation so difficult and unrewarding (and sometimes dangerous) that they get to run the show--most often into the ground.
Yep, this is what happens when democrats enable republicans to control all three branches of Alabama government, and the Courts.

Corruption and Cronyism in the name of the The Lord

Yee Haw!

Thanks to the #MSM, the #GOP can't even pretend to be the "Party of Lincoln" anymore #ReapingWhatYouSow

This is who they are

How often did cable news shows cut away from scheduled programming to show us a live Trump rally? Sometimes even interrupting a speech from another candidate? How often did morning news and Sunday shows allow Trump to literally “phone it in” from Trump Tower or his Mar-a-Lago estate instead of taking the trouble to visit a TV studio in person? Morning Joe co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski have practically adopted him. Don’t be surprised if they broadcast live from “Fourth of July with the Trumps.”
Even last summer, when much of the media thought the Trump phenomenon might burn itself out or self-destruct because of his outrageous and incendiary statements, the media were still all Trump, all the time. There have been estimates that Trump received the equivalent of $2 billion in free media attention.
“It really is astonishing how the Republican Party operates in its own reality, where facts don’t matter and the truth is whatever they say it is. Eight years of barely disguised racism and partisan obstructionism justified by vague appeals to whatever “real conservatism” might be has left the Republican voter base furious at an establishment that is flagrantly disregarding the demands of their constituents and failing to fulfill their constitutional obligations. The Republican Party has made their own bed in the muck of ignorance and discrimination, and now they must watch as Donald Trump gleefully frolics in it
They (the GOP) have defined themselves for who/what they really are.  The Party of Racist/Bigoted/Sexism.

Happy now?

If this is true, EYE am through with the alleged Democratic #HumanShields in #SweetHomeAlabama

Rep. Alvin Holmes, D-Montgomery (Photo: YouTube Screenshot)
Alabama House Democrat threatens to expose colleagues’ affairs if Bentley impeached
Everyone knows the Mainstream Media was Tardy to the Party, and it was Social Media/Bloggers who first broke the Dr. Love / Freaky Becky story. The mainstream media's excuse was they didn't  have proof of the rumors, even though the elected Governor, and the De Facto Governor. were carrying on in plain sight.

Attorney Donald Watkins has been right on the money so far, so EYE have no reason to doubt him or his credibility, but if he is right about Joe Reed being a human shield for Governor Bentley... EYE am through with Joe Reed, Alvin Holmes, and The Alabama Democratic Conference. If what Donald Watkins is true, EYE apologize for ever defending any of them.  Regular readers, pick your teeth up off the floor.
Our Facebook news team has solved the Alvin Holmes-Robert Bentley human shield mystery. Holmes is a longtime political "puppet" of Alabama Democratic Conference Chairman Joe L. Reed and deceased Alabama Education Association Executive Secretary Paul Hubbert. Reed and Hubbert teamed up to help Bentley defeat Bradley Byrne in the 2010 Republican primary elections. Reed also privately supported Bentley in his 2014 election against Democratic gubernatorial nominee Parker Griffin. As a result, Bentley and Reed have developed a close personal friendship.
Away from public view, Reed functions as one of Bentley's trusted political advisors. In this undisclosed capacity, Reed works closely with Bentley and his chief legal counsel, David Byrne. Reed identifies "safe" blacks for Bentley to appoint to vacant judgeships and government boards, among other tasks.
With democrats like these,  who needs republicans?

EYE feel so betrayed.
