Tuesday Talking Points~Edit

Profiling and smear jobs R'Us. God Bless America!
First, a SWAT team in Arizona shoots and kills a decorated Marine because they thought that he was a drug dealer. The man was unarmed.

And then, just to show that Northern states aren't immune from this type of ignorance; the po po in Massachusetts shoots and kills an unarmed 68 year old grandfather in a drug raid. He was not a target of the investigation. (This happened awhile ago, I swear I can't keep up)

Finally, (and this one pisses me off) former NFL star,Warrick Dunn, was profiled and stopped by the po po in Hotlanta because they thought he had the "characteristics of people transporting guns and drugs."

GrannyStandingforTruth writes;
I swear I thought that these days had ended and we were living in post-racial America. Yup, blacks would stop singing We Shall Overcome and toast to peace and equality with our white brothers and sisters. All stereotypes would be discarded and replaced with positive uplifting of one another. We'd start working together on making America a better place for ALL people to live in peace with one another. Well...at least that was the fantasy everyone was, simultaneously, having when President Barack Obama got elected.

So, you know there is something rotten in the cotton if right leaning Left in Alabama smells a dirty, two faced, Rat in Sweet Home Alabama.
Some no-bid contracts are outrageous, wrong and obviously deserving of prosecution.
Others are just fine.

Psst President Obama and Attorney General Holder, African American elected officials, Activist, and White Liberal/Progressive Democrats are under attack in Alabama. We need HELP down here.

Obama has taken his share of grief from the national black community over national policy issues such as the failure to attain a public option or single payer health care component in the “reform” legislation. Others have complained of his progress in advancing outstanding civil rights issues, and some even criticized Michelle Obama for not working a black designer into her dress selection on Inauguration Day. The complaint of Velma Hart, who told Obama she was “exhausted of defending you,” has become something of a symbol for such black discontent. While this criticism is noteworthy, and not without merit, and it has been noted that his shortfalls are disproportionately borne by African-Americans, I am more concerned here with Obama’s impact on areas unique to Alabama. Of necessity, those pertain more to matters of patronage and appointment than to policy. On these matters, Obama’s record varies from questionable to terrible.

Only in America is it OK for the Westboro Baptist Church gang to protest at funerals but not OK for people to dance at the Jefferson Memorial. The Terrorist have truly won.

What's that you say? The Alabama Media is covering up the fact Tornadoes prove Spencer Bacchus is World-Class Tool? I'm shocked! Shocked I tell you. NOT.

But for now, this much is clear: Spencer Bachus stuck by his "conservative principles" and voted to cut federal spending at the expense of accurate weather forecasting in Alabama and elsewhere. That could cost thousands of American lives in an age where tornadoes seem to be hitting with increasing frequency and ferocity. (See Missouri, Joplin.) Spencer Bachus needs to pay a political price for his arrogance and shortsightedness.

To no one's surprise, Alabama's right-wing mainstream press has been trying to provide cover for Bachus and his Republican buddies in Congress. Mary Orndorff, of The Birmingham News, reported on May 8 about the gap in satellite coverage.

Meet the The Walleyed, Rock-Stupid, Egomaniacal, Inadvertently Hilarious Flock of Nattering Republican Boobs Who Think They Can Beat Barack Obama in 2012 If Democrats pussyfoot around and let one of them steal the 2012 election too, we will get what we deserve.

Rick Scott has a campaign “secret weapon” of his own: he’s making it tougher for Democrats to even participate in the election in the first place. Most notably, the governor and his GOP allies are restricting groups’ abilities to launch voter registration drives.

“This law has created, really, a draconian, very broad, ambiguous bureaucracy that is going to make it impossible for volunteers to continue our voter registration work,” said Deirdre Macnab, who heads the Florida branch of the League of Women Voters, a non-partisan group that advocates for political participation.

Comment of the Day;
Republicans firmly believe that voting is a privilege, not a right.

And the only people who should qualify to vote are:
White - preferably male.
Over 40.
A FOX viewer.
A Rush listener.

Overall - Low information voters.

And that's how we get low information state politicians, and Congressmen and Senators.

God help America.

WHY? THERE IS NO EXCUSE!!!!!

Myrtle Beach trashed, rocked by violence, during “Black Bike Week.”

The “mainstream” is reporting that this was a very bad weekend for Myrtle Beach. The town was trashed, and violence was rampant. However, what the “mainstream” does not want anyone to know is the reason that this was such a bad weekend. It is because it was “Black Bike Week.”

Take a look at this article from a local NBC affiliate. It says “big crowds” trashed Myrtle Beach. It also mentions “Atlantic Beach Bike Fest” What it does not tell you is that “Atlantic Beach Bike Fest” is simply an alternate name for “Black Biker Week.” No one outside of Myrtle Beach would have any idea that “Atlantic Beach Fest” and “Black Bike Week” are the same thing.

Black Bike Week is a four day event occurring over the Memorial day weekend. It occurs right after “Bike Week,” which is now a two week event. Regular Bike Week is a time of concerts and biker rallies. It has never been marred by the problems that occurred on Black Bike Week every single year.

The organizers of “Black Bike Week” do not want to come to Myrtle Beach at the same time as the white bikers. Apparently they hate white people so much they demand their own separate race-based event, after regular “Bike Week” is over.

Each year, stores and hotels are vandalized, robbed, and trashed. In previous years some businesses have shut down, only to be sued for “discrimination” by the militant NAACP. This year, the NAACP set up a command center to “monitor” how the community treats the black bikers. This is little more than racial intimidation. The NAACP is looking for more white owned businesses to file flim flam racial discrimination cases against. Who is monitoring how the black bikers treat the community?

The media is reporting that Myrtle Beach was trashed, and rocked by violence, but censoring who did the trashing.

Meanwhile, the same NBC affiliated station reports a Memorial day crime wave. Still no mention that “Black Bike Week” was going on. Note that all these crimes occurred on Monday. This does not even cover the mayhem that occurred during the first three days of Black Bike Week. In every crime, where a suspect is described, he is black.

From WMBF…

According to Captain David Knipes with the Myrtle Beach Police Department, one violent crime report came in early Saturday morning and Sunday morning there were five other reports of violent crime as well as numerous incidents reported Monday morning.

At 3:00 a.m. Saturday, police were told that a man was robbed at gun point on 11th Avenue South past Oak Street. Two Black males with semi-automatic pistols were reported to have held up a man, taking $40 and jewelry.

At 4:25 a.m. Sunday, authorities arrived to the scene of 3201 North Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach where a woman reported that she and her three male friends were robbed and carjacked at gunpoint behind the Bargain Beachwear by four Black males.

At 4:30 a.m. Sunday, a man and his wife were riding back to their motel when they stopped at a stop sign and were allegedly assaulted and robbed on Yaupon Avenue between 13th and 17th Avenue South. The man reported being stabbed in his side and his necklace taken. EMS was called when he returned to the motel. No suspect could be identified due to the large number of people around at the time. [The large crowd was made up of black people, so it is safe to say the perps were black]
Myrtle Beach Police are also investigating two people in area hospitals that came in with gunshot wounds. A person treated at Grand Strand Regional and a patient at Waccamaw Hospital both reported being injured in the area of 9th Avenue and Ocean Boulevard. Neither person knew the other, nor did they know who fired the shot or why.

MORE THUG BEHAVIOR

Gangbangers battle it out in uptown Charlotte, 1 dead, police arrest 70.

From Charlotte Observer…

One person was fatally shot and another wounded early Sunday after several hours of trouble in uptown Charlotte that ended with police in riot gear trying to break up crowds and making 70 arrests.

The shootings took place shortly after 1 a.m. across 3rd Street from the Hilton hotel, two hours after Food Lion Speed Street had closed. Antwan Terrell Smith, 22, was shot in the head and died at the scene. Durante Kavon James, also 22, was shot in the leg and taken to Carolinas Medical Center, where he was in stable condition late Sunday.

The gunfire followed reports of unrest – which police say could be gang-related – centered largely around the Charlotte Transit Center between 4th and Trade streets. The charges were one of the city’s largest mass arrests in memory.

The trouble comes 15 months before Charlotte hosts the 2012 Democratic National Convention – which likely will ensure close scrutiny of what happened.

The core of DNC events will take place at Time Warner Cable Arena and the Charlotte Convention Center. They are blocks from the shooting scene and the Charlotte Transit Center, where police in riot gear were sent early Sunday to disperse large groups, according to Charlotte Mecklenburg police spokesman Officer Robert Fey.

Former Mecklenburg County commissioner Dan Murrey, chairman of the DNC’s local host committee, said Sunday he’s confident that appropriate security measures will be in place for the convention.

“I have a lot of confidence that over the course of the next year of preparations – between local, state and federal law enforcement – that downtown Charlotte will be very safe and secure for the convention effort,” Murrey said.

Rebel Flower you are correct but the difference is those folks did not seek out non-whites as the blacks of today are maybe a payback for what happened years ago, I don't know but it is out of control!!

@FEDUP, if blacks were "seeking out non-whites as maybe payback for what happened years" ago there would be wall to wall, breathless, 24/7 coverage in the mainstream media. It would be the Top Story.
