RedEye's Week in Review

In case you haven't noticed postings have been practically non existent this week. I am taking a semi, but much needed blog vacation. I will be checking in and posting periodically so please keep reading. commenting and posting those links. All I ask is you keep it clean. I am also taking a break from cable news and talk radio so I don't know what they've been talking about this week, but I can tell you what the best political team in the Blogosphere is buzzing about.

Movies do not imitate life. In anticipation of the movie The Help I read the book. Thank goodness I did because the producers chose to entertain instead of educate

The Bingo MisLynching kicks the Obama InJustice department between the legs. I would laugh, but it's so not funny.

Class warfare continues in the Huntspatch Sitty Schools. Thank goodness for the Hampton Cove Parents and Havalittletalk. Now if they would just go over and help Morris and UP before something terrible happens and we have another Lee High School bus tragedy.

Glad I missed the Snow White and Seven Dwarfs show, I mean debate last night.

I wonder when the red, republican, bigots are going to realize they're are being used?

Gotta Go..read on....read often.

Same here. We all need a time-out every now and again.

Gotta keep a closer eye on what's going on in ol' Huntspatch, especially concerning the school board. *drinks coffee, reserves popcorn for later*

Wall Street Journal attacks Section 8 vouchers.

Finally a major newspaper is admitting the obvious. Section 8 welfare housing subsidies are one of the most dangerous schemes in the history of welfare. The idea is to dump the worst long term welfare abusers into nice neighborhoods.

Section 8 is when a long term welfare abuser leaves public housing and moves into a new better neighborhood, and the hardworking taxpayers have to pay for their rent. It means that the working and middle classes are often paying for the decline of their own neighborhoods.

Currently the only defense against the Section 8 horror are landlords who care about the community. A landlord has the right to refuse section 8 tenants. Obama has made it clear that he wants to make it illegal for any landlord to refuse a section 8 tenant.

The Wall Street Journal requires that you register for an account to read this article. However the title sufficiently shows what it is all about. “Section 8 rental subsidies have long helped ruin neighborhoods. Obama administration policies are making things worse.”

You mean the same Wall Street Journal that helped Bush and Dick send our troops to war based on DEAD WRONG INTELLIGENCE? Not that it matters.
