About those lazy "bluh"people who want the government to take care of them...

I watched the PBS program," Slavery by Another Name" on PBS last night.  Needless to say, Sweet Home  Alabama was featured prominently.  It's no secret the present day South was built by forced black labor.    IMHO, it's still a crime to be black in Alabama.

Our great country was built on the backs on black folks, while white folks were sitting on the porch sipping Mint Juleps that we made.  We don't want our government to "take care of us".  We want our government to protect us from our government.

White politician talking to a white crowd plays the race card. It's a slow news day, and he knows the "controversy" will not only keep him in the news cycle, but will also play well with some, who will remember his "slip."

His intent is obvious from the replays. I don't often speculate about another person's intent, but when it's right before your eyes, I'll do it.

As for the help serving mint juleps, it's just a good thing they weren't serving that tasty chocolate pie!
