"TRAYVON BELONGS TO ALL AMERICA, AND UNTIL YOU SEE HIM AS YOUR CHILD TOO, WE ALL REMAIN IN BONDAGE |
One of the things I learned as a result of a discussion about Stand Your Ground laws in relation to the Trayvon Martin case, is some (not to be confused with all) Righty's honestly don't know what racial profiling IS.
Dale and Brian contend George Zimmerman was standing his ground when he shot and killed Trayvon Martin because "Trayvon Martin confronted him and was on top of him, bashing his head into the ground."
I contend IF Trayvon Martin was on top of Zimmerman bashing his head in, Trayvon was standing his ground in fear of his life as a result of being profiled, stalked, and approached by Zimmerman.
Why did Zimmerman profile, follow and approach Trayvon Martin in the first place?
Well, according to Dale Jackson it's because he thought Trayvon was up to no good.
Why did Zimmerman think Trayvon Martin was up to no good?
Because according to Zimmerman and his defenders, there had been a rash of break ins committed by young black males in the neighborhood.
Was Trayvon Martin breaking into someones home when George Zimmerman called 911?
No. He was walking home from the store in the rain, talking on his cell phone to his girl friend, wearing a Hoodie, armed with a bag of Skittles and a can of Arizona Iced Tea..
Why did Zimmerman think Travyon Martin was up to no good?
According to Zimmerman and his defenders, it's because he was a young, black male, and all young black males are guilty of breaking into people's houses and stealing their stuff because they are young black males.
That is RACIAL PROFILING.
Why was George Zimmerman in fear of his life?
What was Trayvon Martin's motivation for attacking him in the first place?
According to Zimmerman and his defenders Trayvon attacked George Zimmerman because he was white, and because black males go around jumping on white men just because they are well....thugs, and that's just what they do.
Why was George Zimmerman screaming for help knowing he was armed with a 9 mm handgun?
If George Zimmerman had not continue to pursue Trayvon Martin with a 9 mm hand gun, and just stayed in his automobile as instructed by the 911 dispatcher, he wouldn't be on trial for 2nd degree murder, and Trayvon Martin would be alive today.
Maybe.
