Thank you for reminding us about the road we've travelled, and how far we still have to go. The republicans continue to put up road blocks as I type, so they can claim "Obama is a failure".
I was thinking the other day, some (not to be confused with all) white people aren't going to be happy as long as President Obama's Ebony Donkey occupies the WHITE HOUSE.
I remember the road we've travelled. I remember the HOPE we had for CHANGE we can BELIEVE in. Little did we know it i would bring about out the worst in some (not all) whites, who will never accept African Americans as equals. "Hell no, they ain't fergittin."
I HOPE we shall overcome fear and bigotry, someday.
